Orientation training programme for scientists/ officers/ technical staff and farmers of CSB and DOS.

Management Development Programme (MDP) and Skill Updating Programme  (SUP)  are proposed for the scientists/ officers/ technical staff and farmers of CSB and DOS with the objective of orienting and updating the concerned with the need based technologies developed by the research institute and also to impart practical training to farmers about the new sericulture technologies. The programmes are conducted with a varying duration of 3-10 days.

      Management Development Programme (MDP): It is proposed to conduct 2 batches of training for officers and staff on Rearing Technology & Vermicompost, Compost and green manure preparation techniques.

Skill Updating Programme  (SUP) : It is proposed to hold two batches training programme on Mulberry varieties and cultivation technique, one batch on Chawki silkworm rearing technique, two batches on Integrated nutrient management components & concepts, two batches on Integrated disease & pest management component & concepts and one batch on late age rearing, shoot feeding, moulting care   mounting for farmers

All the Regional Sericultural Research Stations will be conducting training programmes for farmers.
